40th Birthday Hoe Down Party at Lach Dennis Village Hall September 2013

Here is feedback from the birthday girls on last saturday's gig. We had a great time too:

Just wanted to let you know we had a brilliant party on Saturday.  We
thought the band were great and they made sure everyone had a good time.  We
loved the dancing, it was so much fun and catered for the young children and
the mature party goers (our parents!). Would you please pass our thanks to
them for making the party so much fun.   I will recommend them and may be in
touch in 10 years time for the next party!

Venue: St Annes Church Neighbourhood Centre 

Commence: 7.30 p.m.   Last dance:  10.45 p.m.

Cost of Tickets: £8 for adults and £5 for children

Price includes pastie and peas in the interval + a wonderful evening of fun, rocky hoe down dancing

to the live music of Hole in the Wall Band. (Caller Steve will guide you all through your jigs and reels etc).

Just bring along yourselves with your own soft drinks (or wine and beer) for one of your best nights ever.

Barn Dance in aid of Riding for the Disabled - Broadbottom, Stockport

Devil's Fire are back at The Etherow Centre in Broadbottom near Stockport for another barn dance in aid of Riding for the Disabled Association. We had a great time last year and everyone enjoyed it.

21st Birthday Barn Dance near Hale, Cheshire

Hi Fran
We had a great evening thank you and the band were great. The whole evening worked out perfectly and the barn dancing was a big hit with everyone. I think I saw almost everyone up dancing at some point which says it all. The "youngsters" most of whom had never been to a barn dance loved it and the whole party was a big hit. Kirsten had a ball and was delighted that her 21st was an occasion everyone will be talking about for a long time. Please thank all the band for me. They were so flexible on the night and happy to meet all our requests. Thanks again for all your help and making it all so easy.

July Barn Dances - the story so far

It's been an interesting month for Devil's Fire. We have played in a barn in Glossop, a garden party in Leeds, an RAF base in Yorkshire in the officers mess, and last night we played at Buile Hill School.

The garden party in Leeds was a corporate event to celebrate the 4th of July. A barbecue, drinks a plenty and all outside in the lovely sunshine. The RAF base was RAF Leeming for their summer ball. We provided the barn dance bit. We were looked after like royalty and we had a great night. Buile Hill school was a warm evening, but all the doors were open and a cool breeze was blowing in. The dancers were brilliant and a delicious barbecue was provided.

We still have two birthday parties to play this month. One in Hale and the other in Liverpool.
